The Lincoln Navigator vs. The Cadillac Escalade

From Crest Lincoln of Woodbridge

Unparalleled Luxury and Power

See How the 2024 Lincoln Navigator Compares to the Competition

The largest vehicle in the Lincoln lineup, the three-row Lincoln Navigator first premiered in 1998. Since then, it has become one of the most popular vehicles in the country and is a longstanding favorite of customers here at Crest Lincoln of Woodbridge. It offers plenty of interior space for passengers and cargo, the power and performance that drivers love, and the luxurious quality that Lincoln is renowned for.

With all its winning traits, choosing the 2024 Lincoln Navigator should be an easy decision. But we know that other brands and models are competing for your attention as well, such as the Cadillac Escalade. To help ease your mind, and to illustrate what makes the Lincoln a better fit, we've compared the two side by side for you here. Read on to learn more.

The Lincoln Navigator

The Cadillac Escalade

The 2024 Lincoln Navigator vs. the 2024 Cadillac Escalade

Offering a range of available options, including well-equipped Lincoln Navigator trims and two different wheelbase choices, traditional and extended length, the 2024 Lincoln Navigator continues to give drivers what they really want in a luxury SUV, plus so much more. On the surface, it appears to have a lot in common with the similarly sized Cadillac Escalade. Dive a little deeper, however, and discover all the ways in which our Navigator is the better choice for your Stamford and Greenwich driving needs.

Drivability and Performance

New for 2024, every Lincoln Navigator SUV now gets standard, full-time four-wheel drive. On the other hand, with the Cadillac Escalade, drivers in West Hartford will have to request it special to get four-wheel drive, or even all-wheel drive, as that SUV lineup comes with the less-popular rear-wheel drive as standard equipment.

Utility and Power

Have a camper or boat for the family to take on weekend adventures? While both of these full-sized SUVs outperform traditional, car-based crossovers when it comes to towing, the Lincoln Navigator does it better than the Cadillac Escalade. Expect more than 8,000 pounds worth of towing capacity for the Lincoln model, with the Escalade topping out at a little more than 7,000 pounds.

The Lincoln Navigator also hauls more than the competition. Payload capacity for the Navigator starts with an impressive 1,717 pounds, while the Escalade starts at just 1,483 pounds.

Safety and Innovation

Regardless of whether you're sticking to roads in Woodbridge or heading over to New Haven, your family's safety is always a priority for Lincoln. As such, the Lincoln Navigator has a long list of standard safety features, including many of the latest technologically advanced amenities that our customers love. Highlights include standard pedestrian detection, active parking assistance, blind-spot monitoring, and intersection assistance, none of which are standard for the Cadillac Escalade.

Interior Space and Comfort

Whether you're the passenger or the driver, you'll be more comfortable in the Lincoln Navigator than the Cadillac Escalade. Our SUV has more room inside to stretch out in for your Guilford and Madison drives, especially in the third row, where you'll get more legroom and space enough for kids and adults.
