The All-New 2020 Lincoln Aviator Will Be Coming Soon to Crest Lincoln of Woodbridge

Shopping for a luxury midsize SUV with innovative technology? The 2020 Lincoln Aviator will be available soon at Crest Lincoln of Woodbridge. People in the New Haven and Milford, CT areas will be captivated by the new Aviator's sharp styling. It will share some design cues with the larger Navigator, but the Aviator will sit lower and have an aeronautically-inspired profile with a sloping roofline and a swept-back front end. The Aviator will also be the first Lincoln to be available in a plug-in hybrid model. It won't be on the market until later this year. Read on to see why the all-new Aviator will be well worth the wait.

Performance

You'll have ample power for zipping through city traffic or passing on the highway with the 2020 Lincoln Aviator. It will come with a 400-horsepower twin-turbo V6 engine, but a 450-horsepower plug-in hybrid version will be available that can run silently in electric-only mode for a short distance. Its lithium-ion battery pack will sit under the floor on the passenger side, so it won't infringe on storage space. Owners will be able to fully recharge the hybrid Aviator within three to four hours at a public charging station, or with a home-installed charging station. The new Aviator will provide a supremely smooth ride, especially in models equipped with the Air Glide Suspension with Road Preview. This system will use an advanced front camera to evaluate and monitor the road ahead. When an upcoming rough spot is detected, the system will prepare the suspension to soften the ride. Drivers in the Plainville and East Hartford areas will appreciate the Aviator's Drive Mode Selector, featuring five different driving modes (Normal, Excite, Conserve, Slippery, and Deep Conditions) they can switch from to customize their ride.

Safety

You'll feel safe and secure in the 2020 Lincoln Aviator, since it will offer abundant safety technology. The standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360™ suite of features will include a rearview camera, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, and automatic high beams. Optional driver assistance features in the new Aviator will include active steering, traffic jam assist, active park assist, and reverse brake assist. The 2020 Lincoln Aviator will have a sleek look, a composed ride, and cutting-edge technology. Contact Crest Lincoln of Woodbridge and schedule a test drive today.

Interior and Technology

Once you set down in the 2020 Lincoln Aviator, you'll be impressed by its spacious cockpit with an ergonomic layout that puts everything within easy reach. The Aviator will have three rows of seats and will hold up to seven passengers, but available captain's chairs with a center console would reduce that number to five. Its cushy seats will come standard with leather upholstery. The new Aviator will also come with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an in-cabin air filter. People in the New Britain and New Haven areas who travel heavy will appreciate that the Aviator will have 77.7 cubic feet of cargo space with its rear seats folded down. Standard amenities will include the Lincoln Connect infotainment system with a built-in Wi-fi hotspot and a 10-inch touch screen, a voice-activated touchscreen navigation system with pinch-to-zoom capability, and a power liftgate. Available features will include a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, and the Lincoln Way app, ™ which lets you program your smartphone to open the car or start it with the press of a button.
